First Scare!

I had a consistent sharp pain on my right side for about 24 hours. So I called the nurse first thing this morning and she was able to squeeze me in for an ultrasound to check for an ectopic pregnancy.
But God heard my prayers! The baby is definitely in the uterus (not the tube) and is measuring right on time at 5w3d! This really makes me feel better since last time at 6 weeks I was only measuing 4w3d.
My uterus is completely retroverted. That, combined with how early I am, made it impossible to find a heartbeat. So she told me to come back in 2 weeks for another ultrasound and put me on prometrium for good measure. She also said that it looks like my uterus is heart-shaped which may give me problems carrying to term. But also said that many women have no problems from such a septum.

I know we're not out of the woods, but a HUGE weight has been lifted for the moment. I just thank the Lord for making everything all right this far and ask for his continued blessings. Grow STRONG baby!!

And in other news, another person guessed yesterday! Another one of the ladies at church followed me out to my car, gave me a hug and said she could just tell.
