30 Weeks!

Holy Moly. It's surreal to think that I could possibly have a full term baby NEXT MONTH!
It's all starting to feel so real. And I'm starting to flip out about how MUCH I have left to do. With my energy waning it seems daunting. I don't know where to start. I've GOT to get moving on my crib bedding...but I'm still trying to sort out the bumper. The sheet fits perfectly. I'm not thrilled with the crib skirt. I wish I'd done it a little differently, but too late now. I'm not ripping out more seams than I have to.
I bought a black comforter for the bed that's in the nursery and I'm going to make a bed skirt, pillow shams, and throw pillows to match the crib bedding and curtains. I'm just praying it all turns out great and I have enough fabric left to do everything I want.
Not much new to report. I'm pretty uncomfortable physically and getting a good breath is becoming challenging. But I'm dealing. It won't be too much longer...and it's not half as bad as the first trimester's Prometrium debacle. And as of today I am up another 3 lbs. Hopefully I won't get another lecture from Dr. Fat Nazi on Tuesday. I might bitch slap him if he gives me a condescending look. I was heavier than this in high school and my teeny tiny mother gained a whopping 60 lbs with my brother. Lay off buddy. I'm hungry all the time and I can't work out because I have contractions and you told me to stay off my feet as much as I can.
Baby GIRL Monkey is kicking up a storm. I'm starting to think I should have nick named her "octopus". Just when I think I've got a handle on what position she's in I get kicked in FOUR places simultaneously. Yes FOUR. North, South, East, and West if my belly was a compass. What the heck is she doing in there? At least I know when she's transverse because I can feel her head and her butt on either side of my bump...I'm just not sure which is which.
I got fluffy mail today! ArtsyFartsyFooFoo (a seller on Etsy.com) made me a pretty red cloth diaper and some nursing pads that are oh so soft and cool against my skin. I can't wait to use them.
And it's getting to be past my bedtime...Yes I know it's only 8:00 pm. Don't judge me.
