Feeding issues

The pediatrician wants me to continue pumping until I pump 30 mL twice in a row. And then he wants me to alternate pumping and breastfeeding every feeding.
The lactation consultant thinks I should keep nursing. And as much as I hate to ignore a Dr's advice I have to agree with the LC.
So I've decided I will nurse her as much as she wants to nurse and then pump after nursing to make sure my breasts are empty and stimulate them to produce more. I don't even think I'm getting emptied on the pump alone and nursing is much more efficient. I'm going to keep seeing the LC so we can track her weight gain and ensure we are doing everything right. It's a learning process for both of us and I think trying to pump exclusively will only lead to extreme frustration and eventually, a decision to switch to formula.
Currently she's nursing and then taking about another 1.5 oz from a bottle every 3 hours. We have a weight check tomorrow and I'm hoping to see that she's gained.
This morning I woke up with pretty tender boobies, I'm really hoping that means I'm making some progress. It's just breaking my heart that I can't supply what she needs. I've been taking Fenugreek and I am going to call my Dr. for a prescription for Reglan. I'm nervous about taking it as it is known to cause dystonic reactions. So I wanted to be sure I started it when someone could be with me 24/7 just in case I have a reaction I can't control with Benadryl. Since Katie is coming to visit tomorrow, mom has taken vacation for the rest of the week. So I'll have someone available to be here. I've also heard Reglan can cause depression. So I'll have to watch for that.
But overall, despite having to supplement with formula, we're doing much better. Isla is sleeping for longer stretches because she isn't starving. And she doesn't cry anymore unless she is hungry or we're torturing her with a diaper change or bath (and sometimes not even then). She sleeps a lot, but usually after her 8pm-ish feeding, she will stay up and look around for a while before drifting off to dreamland. It's nice to have a happy baby! Last night I got a whole 3 uninterrupted hours and woke up on my own before she did! Now that might not sould like a whole lot, but after a couple of good naps yesterday it was all I needed to bounce back. I've never needed a whole lot of sleep to function. I think if I can get one good afternoon nap in and at least 3 hours at night I'll be set.
I started using my cloth diapers too! So far I'm loving prefolds (similar to what our parents used) the most. They aren't the easiest to get on a squirmy baby, but they are so much trimmer than other diapers. My next favorite would be the Kissaluvs, much easier to get on, but bulkier than the PFs. And my favorite cover so far is my Bummies Super Whisper Wrap. I think I'll like the Thristies too, but they are a little to large for her at this point. Proraps are ok. They are a little gappy in the legs and the tabs don't overlap. But they will suffice for now.
And that's all for now.

We have some issues. =(

Isla had what looked like blood in her urine on Thursday, so we went to see the pediatrician. He said that it was just uric acid, but that she didn't look like she was getting enough fluid. My milk wwasn't in yet and he said to give her some water to keep her hydrated until it gets here. And if it's not her my Saturday to call. And they weighed her and she's lost 12 oz since birth!
Fast forward to Saturday, still no milk. After a greuling 2.5 hour non-stop nursing session (and her still wanting to nurse like that into the morning, I decided to give her some formula. About 4 mL was all it took and she was out cold! My poor baby must have been starving.
I called the pedi and he is concerned. I was told not to nurse her for 24 hours. I am to pump every 3 hours and log how much I get. Then I have to bottle feed (or syringe feed since the flow on all my bottles is so fast it makes er spit up) her the expressed milk and top her off with formula.
So far she won't take more than about an ounce of anything at one time. She's also been sleeping ALL day. I'm pretty worried about her. Mom spent the night to help take care of her while I pump my brains out. And tomorrow we'll go to see the pedi and then a lactation consultant.
Keep us in your prayers!

Home at last!

Sorry this blogging is so hit and miss. SO MUCH happens so fast and I'm just trying to get it all in here before I forget and as I remember.
Isla was PERFECT on the way home. She slept so soundly I kept having to check to make sure she was breathing. For me however the car ride home was excruciating. After sitting in a ridiculously HARD wheel chair while Justin pulled the car around and all the bumps on the way home, my stitches were REALLY smarting. I couldn't even sit down! Mom and dad stayed to help us out a little. Isla just wanted to sleep and be held. She hadn't eaten in about 6 hours, even though I kept trying to feed her. I tried several times while Justin was eating and showering and stuff and she just wasn't interested at all. Justin sat down to watch TV and unwind and I handed Isla to him and took a shower and laid down on the couch. It was hard not to watch Justin hold her. Watching him with her makes me love him so much more than I ever thought I could. But I forced myself to close my eyes and I slept for about 3 hours! And after some Motrin and Darvocet I'm feeling much better. It's still pretty difficult to get up and down though. I'm looking forward to this pain going away.
Isla finally nursed, for the longest she ever has! I got her pjs on and swaddled her and laid her in the crib with a pacifier. She just laid there looking around while I got settled in for the night. She seems to enjoy the rhythmic ticking of the clocks above her crib (Bonus!). She was just wide awake so I decided to computer it up for a while with her next to me so she wasn't alone in her crib. Now she's sleeping soundly and I am going to try to put her back down and catch a few more zzz's before she wakes up wanting to nurse.
So far I'm loving having her home. Sitting in bed with her snuggled up next to me is just the best thing EVER.

Going home today!

I'm waiting for my Dr. to get out of a surgery so he can write me a prescription and then we will be taking Isla home!
I thought I'd take the time to blog a little about our hospital stay.
Isla is such a cuddly baby. She wants to be close to someone all the time. So far I think she mostly likes to be held upright against the chest and she likes her feet tucked in, like a kitten.
She's doing pretty well with nursing. She latched on right away in the recovery room, but I didn't know what I was doing and her latch wasn't good. The lactation consultant came in yesterday morning and showed me how to stretch her chin down to get a better latch. It still hurts pretty bad, but the more adept Isla becomes the better it gets. She has a STRONG desire to suck and was starting to use me as a pacifier. Last night I was too frustrated with that to nurse her when she did actually get hungry. The nursery nurse said she was hungry and if I couldn't nurse her she'd have to give her a little formula. I felt SOOOOO guilty about letting her do that, but I was so tired and really hurting. Isla doesn't seem to be phased by it. I was also pretty hesitant to give her a pacifier because I was afraid of not feeding her when she was actualy hungry, but she was so fussy today and continued to want to suck after several nursing sessions. So I gave her one. It really calmed her down. And when she was hungry she just spit it out. And the subsequent nursing session was the best we've had yet! I actually think the pacifier helped her learn to suck a little more efficiently.
I'm still hurting and walking and sitting are not so fun. But as long as I stay on top of my pain medication it's tolerable. I feel like a druggie asking for more meds like clockwork, but I need them.
Oh yay. My prescription is here and I can go home as soon as Justin gets back upstairs with the carseat! Wow. We're taking our baby home. Life is never going to be the same!
I'll be back later to blog more.

My Birth Story

I woke up at 12:45 on Monday April 13th not believing I could possibly be in labor after all the false alarms. The contractions were uncomfortable enough to keep me from getting more than an hour's sleep. I woke up to stronger contractions, and took a shower and got ready for work. I decided to start timing them and they 3 minutes apart! Of course I started getting excited, especially when they got painful enough to bring me to my knees. But they were only lasting about 30 seconds.
AND THEN...they tapered off a little and went to 5 minutes. UGH. I had a Dr.'s appointment at 10 am so I was determined to not run to L&D.
I went to work and then made it to my appointment. The Dr. said all the false labor was NORMAL especially for first time moms. He checked me and declared me almost 3 cm. Then he gave me the mother of all membrane strippings. It hurt like hell. and he did it 3 times!
Contractions started before I checked out of the Dr.s office. But I went back to work and picked up lunch on the way. I couldn't eat it though (unusual for me). The contractions got stronger and I started bleeding. When I got to about 4 minutes apart told my supervisor I was leaving. I called Justin and he said I should go home. I was going to, but changed my mind at the exit and turned toward the hospital.
The triage nurse declared me 4 cm and I was admitted!!! I was in total disbelief. From here everything went so fast I have no idea what time anything happened or how long I was doing what. And I really didn't care!
I was hurting so bad before they took me to my L&D suite. It was like a hotel room! They got me into bed and started a pitocin drip. I asked for the epidural. The pain was bad, not unbearable, but I figured it would be a while before I actually got the epi -- and it was.
My nurse was just about to give me something to hold me over when the anesthesiologist wheeled in his cart of goodies. I was pretty nervous and started crying while he was prepping me. I didn't feel like I could get my back rounded out far enough, but he didn't say anything. The numbing shot hurt a little, and the pressure of the epi cath going in was scary, but it didn't hurt. I am ashamed to say I was a total whiny baby.
Only my left side got numb. I was still feeling the contractions all around my right hip. My nurse checked me and said I was between 8-9 cm. and she wanted to cath me. I told her she had to wait until I couldn't feel anything at all. The nurse and Justin rolled me onto my right side to try and get the epi to numb me over there. The nurse was telling me that this was going fast and I really needed that cath. I still wouldn't let her put it in.
Then I felt and heard this LOUD and STRONG POP! against my right hip. It felt like Chuck Norris round house kicked me in the hip! Then I felt a huge gush and said "MY WATER BROKE"! The nurse didn't believe me so it must not have been as much fluid as I it felt like. She swabbed it and sure enough, water broken! The CNA came in to check on my and gave me a larger bolus of the epi saying that the Dr's never give patients enough.
I was getting pretty numb so agreed to let my nurse try putting in a smaller sized cath than the foley cath. And it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO uncomfortable. I should have made her wait longer. She checked me again and said she was wrong, I was only at 7cm. Bummer.
The upped dose of the epi was FANTASTIC and SO WIERD. I could still feel my skin and move my feet, but everything else just felt heavy. No pain at all. I did get a bad case of the shakes though and she gave me some fentenol to sedate me a little.
The smaller cath wasn't draining at all so I told my mom I was ready to let her try the foley. And I didn't feel it at all. So being totally numb makes a HUGE difference. She checked me again and said I was complete, the head was in the birth canal, and she could feel hair! WOW! She called my Dr.
It was time for shift change so I had to wait for my new nurse, Cici. Once Cici got there she broke down the bed and got me to do some practice pushes. I probably pushed thru about 3 contractions with CiCi's coaching and telling me I was doing great, a very effective pusher. LOL I couldn't feel ANYTHING besides a slight urge to push before she told me I could. She had my push 3 times thru each contraction at first, but we were moving so fast she had to decrease it to 1 push per contraction since we were waiting on the Dr. The baby crowned before the Dr. walked in and we had to just sit there. It felt strange to just sit and wait. I also could see my stomach deflating more the lower the baby got. So funny.
My Dr. finally walked in and threw his booties and gown on, stretched me (which did hurt a little), and we started pushing again. The cord was around her neck (which I suspected with how often and how long she got hiccups in the womb) so Justin wasn't able to cut it. I had to stop pushing while he snipped the cord and then on the next push she was out! The relief from the pressure was instantaneous and so nice! They put her on my chest and WOW was she beautiful. They took some pictures for us and then whisked her over to the warmer to do their thing while I got stitched up. Only a minor tear the Dr said, but he put SO many stitches in it. It was not so fun to watch, even though I couldn't feel it.
Baby Monkey (otherwise known as Isla) was born at 7:55pm, 6 lbs 12 oz, 19 3/4 inches long. I didn't feel any connection with her at first. She was like this little stranger. I tried nursing her (OUCH), but mostly I let everyone else hold her.
Mom went to get me something to eat and everyone else left. They took Isla (whose name I still was not sure about at this point) to the nursery and said she'd be gone for 4 hours. Surprisingly I was totally ok with it. I thought it would break my heart, but it didn't.
They got me cleaned up and settled in my post-partum room. I couldn't sleep. When I was finally feeling my legs enough to be able to get up I walked down to the nursery just as they were finishing up with her. We walked back to my room and then she was all mine. Just as I finally started to get tired she decided she wanted to nurse like crazy. Every time I stopped (b/c I was nodding off) she wailed. I think she just wanted to suck though. I finally had to send her to the nursery so I could get some sleep. I felt totally guilty.
My Dr. came in this morning and I was so groggy I hardly remember what he said to me, other than that they were all yes/no questions.
When the nursery staff bought Isla back to me today it was instant love. I feel bonded to her and I know now that her name is definitely Isla.
She is a total sweetheart. She's been sleeping most of the day (me too). And she'll sleep in the bassinet, but mostly she wants to be on my chest, which is where she is now.
Wow, this has gotten long. I am starving. I'll pick this back up in a little while, and maybe move some of it to a whole nother post about recovery.

39 weeks 3 days...

And Psychic Sue predicts that today is the day.
But I'm not holding my breath.
12:45 am and I'm up with contractions again. I'm expecting them to stop any minute. I have to get up in 5 hours to go to work. So I can pretty much guarantee they are going to last just long enough to keep me from getting any decent sleep.
Justin is sleeping fitfully next to me. Every 3 minutes or so he jerks and flails. At least he's asleep.
I didn't want to be induced. Besides it reportedly being more painful, I just wanted that experience of going into labor. But at this point I am just SO OVER bring pregnant and all this false labor I'll take any way out. My OB is so blase about everything. I want to ask him for an induction date at my appointment later today, but I anticipate that he's just going to look at me like I'm a silly, impatient girl and say "we'll talk about it next week when you're am actually overdue". Ugh. NO! I need something to hang on too. I need to know what the last possible day I have to endure this will be.
Someone remind me that for the next baby I want a midwife! Doctors officially SUCK. He spends all of 2 minutes in the room with me, doesn't tell me anything, and is nothing but patronizing when I do ask questions. What does a girl have to do to get some decent medical care around here????
This is what my appointments consist of:
Vitals and weight with the nurse (who actually asks questions: Baby moving ok? Any pain?)
Nurse check baby's heartbeat
Wait 20 minutes for the Dr.
Dr comes in: "Hey Natalie! Good to see you!"
Handshake. "Any contractions?"
Measure belly.
Check cervix.
Make notes in my chart.
"See you next week!"
I have to practically jump in front of the door to stop him if I have any questions.
He's nice, and a perfectly competent Dr. But jeez. Take a minute. Ask me how I'm feeling! Don't make it up to me to interject that, by the way, I'M FRICKIN' MISERABLE!

Le Sigh.

39 Weeks

Is there anything left to say at after this week?

Thursday, April 9, 2009

I am going to go insane.

Yet another day of contractions goes absolutely nowhere. This morning I work up with mild contractions. I got up and started my day and they got stronger. So I went for a walk and they got stronger. And then they stopped. UGH. This afternoon I felt a gush and thought "was that my water?" so I laid down for an hour like the childbirth coach said to. When I got up I felt another little gush. So I went to L&D.
But no. My water has not broken. The nurse checked me and declared I was about 1.5 cm and 80%. Four days of contractions and all I have to show for it is a lousy 1/2 cm and 10% effacement. I want to murder someone. She said the baby is still pretty high too.
This is total misery. I have officially reached my limit. I sobbed the whole way home. Justin convinced me to go to Chili's for dinner and I sobbed all the way there. I cried some more in the bathroom before I could compose myself enough to join him at the table. Then the waitress asked me if I was ok and I burst into tears again. Then I proceeded to eat WAY too much. I contracted hard all the way thru dinner, resenting and cursing every one of them knowing that by the time I was home again they would have stopped. But still not being able to quell a small bubble of hope that they wouldn't. And now they have. And here I sit, defeated again!
I am ok with still being pregnant. I can handle waiting for the baby. What I cannot handle is all of this back and forth. All of the thinking I'm making progress, only to have the rug yanked out from under me.
Just leave me the FCUK alone until you are ready to come and stay for the duration of this pregnancy. I am so incredibly angry and depressed right now.
And please don't anyone comment (however well meaning you may be) that it's alright and she'll be here when she's ready. I KNOW THAT. I am tired of everyone telling me that. The waiting isn't what I can't handle. It's the waiting, PLUS having my hopes dashed over and over and over again. And on top of everything I have to go to work and now I have to work day shifts (which I fcuking DESPISE) because I can't leave them hanging never knowing if they might be short handed in the evening.
I can't do this anymore.

Operation Baby Eviction: Part 3

So it looks like the castor oil was a bust. My contractions have been stuck at about 8 minutes apart all evening and lasting about 45 seconds.
We've tried some other things to get labor going consistently, but so far...zip.
I guess I'm going to have to get used to being in labor on and off. As much as it scares me to leave the privacy and comfort of my home, I'm going back to work tomorrow. I feel like a total moron. The girl who cried "labor". Sheesh.

Operation Baby Eviction: Part 2

1:00 pm: 7 hours in. I've had only 1 bout of the poopies, preceded by nausea and abdominal cramps. I've had some fairly painful contractions, but only while I'm lying down. When I get up they ease up. But they are coming fairly regularly.
I'm still not holding my breath. I'm thinking I'll go for a walk in a bit and then take a nap.

Operation Baby Eviction: Part 1

6:00 am: I braved 2 tablespoons of castor oil in a shot glass. It's THICK, but not really so horrible. Not nearly as bad a Tequila. I only gagged a little. I followed it with a glass of OJ, some danish, and a Cherry Dr. Pepper. My throat feels sort of thick now, not the most pleasant thing, but not unbearable.
I've got a 52 oz keg of water with my name on it to prevent dehydration. I'm going to go lie down and wait for something to happen. With my luck it will be a big fat bust, but at least I tried it.

In unrelated news: All night I had what I thought were going to be some productive contractions. Of course the petered out as soon as I got up (I timed them for an hour just to make sure I wasn't in serious labor before taking the CO). But I lost more of my mucous plug (hopefully the last of it, as I lost some over a week and half ago) so maybe these contractions had some affect after all.

Ok. I'll update if/when something happens.

So much for spicy food...

The hot hot hot wings didn't do anything. I can always expect an upset stomach and a night in the head after even mild flavored wings.
My contractions have picked up again, but are ALL over the place. Anywhere from 2-9 minutes apart and lasting from 20 seconds to 1 minute and a half! I have officially been in consistent false labor for 2 flippin' days!
So I scoured the internet for stories, talked it over with Justin, and decided I will be trying the castor oil first thing tomorrow morning. It seems the general consensus is that if your cervix is already thinning you have a good chance of it working. And if you're already having contractions there is an even better chance it will regulate them and promote "real" labor.
The negatives: Castor oil is a stimulant laxative and may cause explosive diarrhea, cramps, and vomiting. But at this point I am willing to risk all that. Besides, if greasy hot wings didn't phase me I'm thinking I might be ok. Even if all I get is miserably sick, at least I tried.
SO. Goodnight and in the morning, bottoms up!

SERIOUSLY?

These moronic contractions slowed down again. WTF? I am so pissed. I took the day off work b/c I thought this was IT. Now I'm going to look like an idiot if something doesn't happen soon.
I've been told to slam down 2 tablespoons of castor oil. I'm a little nervous to do this b/c I (of course) googled it and read some horror stories. So I ordered hot wings for lunch. Much hotter than I am usually ballsy enough to try. I'm hoping they might have the same effect as the castor oil since the even mild ones usually tear up my stomach. BUT. If I don't go into serious labor tonight I'm going to throw caution to the wind and brave the possiblity of some major stomach aching and vomiting from the castor oil. But with my luck that won't even work.
Seriously kid, why are you so stubborn?????? You are just like your daddy!

More labor...

The contractions are stronger today and about 4-5 minutes apart. I'm just hanging out in bed for a while. I plan to get up and take a shower in a bit and maybe nest until I really start hurting. Maybe we'll have a baby today! But I'm going to guess it will be more like tomorrow.

Labor update

I'm still not convinced this is the real deal. But I am hurting more. The time between contractions is back to about 8 minutes and I'm feeling a lot of constant pressure. And the monkey, who usually sits off to my left side, has moved more toward the middle of my belly. It seems she's also dropped quite a bit in the last hour.
I'm thinking I'm in for a LOOOOONG labor. The way things are looking it might be days before I'm in enough pain to try my luck at L&D. I'm going to try and get some sleep now.
Come on Monkey! April 7th is looking to be a beautiful day for a birthday!

Is this it??

I ***THINK*** I might be in labor. All this false labor has made me skeptical though. I had contractions all night, as usual. But this morning, instead of stopping, they kept up. They aren't very painful though. They have gone from about 10-12 minutes apart early this morning to about 7 minutes apart lasting about 40 seconds before I left for my Dr.'s appointment.
My BP was way up 150/86 so the nurse said "something must be going on", but it could also just be excitement at the prospect of meeting my baby in the next day or so. The Dr. says I am still only 1 cm and 70% effaced. So that was pretty depressing. I asked him to strip my membranes while he was checking me and he said "that's what I'm doing right now". I felt a little pop, but it didn't hurt at all. My contractions are now about 6 minutes apart. They last about 30-45 seconds. Still not much pain. Just an achy back.
I washed my kitchen floor 3 times today. I'm going to get caught up on the laundry and clean the bathrooms and then lie down for a bit.
I decided not to go to work just in case. I don't really want to have to worry about my water breaking while I'm there or driving home by myself if the pain does get bad all of the sudden. I'm really hoping that this is the real thing, but I'm also expecting the contractions to just poop out on me any minute now like they always do.

38 Weeks

OH. MY. GOODNESS. 2 weeks to go!?!?!?! (Well, possibly 3, and possibly less!).
My supervisor and went over my yearly development plan today and she commented that in spite of all the worry and potential for disaster, I've made it! I'm really going to have a baby! And it totally changed my point of view. Yes, I am still anxious to meet my little monkey and hold her and love her. But what does it matter if that is 12 hours from now or 3 weeks from now? All that matters is she's healthy and well developed. So while I am SO DONE with being pregnant and will continue to do what I can to initiate labor, I have a new-found sense of patience. I don't WANT to wait on God's timing, but I will. And I will endeavor to do so with a joyful and thankful heart.
I am sitting here in my very nearly finished nursery. I just have a few tiny things to finish. BUT I simply cannot wait any longer to post pictures! So. Without further adieu, MY NURSERY:

The Clocks

The Crib

The Bed
(Thank you Target for the Big Ben, Empire State, and Chrysler Building statues)

The Changing Table
(I still need to get hardware for the drawers and find the perfect picture for that large frame)

More Crib, Clocks, and my collection of Eiffel Towers

Yes, Of course I made a Boppy pillow cover to match.

The Closet

Guardian Angle Icon and the song my grandfather used to sing to us when were were little, in his own handwriting! Such a special addition to my nursery and something I will sing to my Monkey.

I really cannot believe I sewed all of this stuff! And I am SOOOOO glad to be nearly done! I still have one more pillow case to make out of the pink fabric for my body pillow and I would like to get another crib sheet made too. When Monkey officially has a name I am going to paint and hang some wall letters. I THINK I will put them above the bed. And I think I want to add some B&W photos above the crib. But we'll see. For now I am satisfied that the majorly involved projects are out of the way! A HUGE thanks to Jamie, and Erin for helping me paint and to my mom for painting the furniture and helping hang shelves.

All we need now is the Monkey!

Sewing for baby

I've been a crafty maven lately, sewing all kinds of things in addition to my nursery sewing projects. I know you want to see some pictures:

Boppy cover I made for my SIL

Sleep gown I made for my baby. It says "50% Good 50% Bad 100% Trouble".

Another gown for my baby girl. This one is SO soft. And I love the fabrics.
The nursery isn't totally finished yet. I'm trying to wait to post pictures of the whole shebang so you get the full wow factor. It's getting close...

37 Weeks

And the false labor continues. I got more sleep last night than I did the night before, but still not a lot. I kept having this dream that the house was flooding (maybe because there was a monsoon going on outside) and waking up with contractions.
And apparently these contractions are not promoting any progress. I'm still just barely 1 cm dilated. Big sad face.
The ultrasound went well. Monkey is measuring a little behind schedule at about 6 lbs. Which puts her in the 38th percentile. So WHEW! Thank you sweet baby jesus I won't be giving birth to a gorilla. I also have "plenty of amniotic fluid" and Monkey is definitely head down. The tech was able to get a good face shot so she's not descended too far down into my pelvis (another sad face). And she looks to have some cutie pie chipmunk cheeks. Here's a picture:I'm bouncing vigorously on my yoga ball in hopes of getting her head down on my cervix and I've been trying to lengthen my stride and not waddle everywhere...which is DIFFICULT!

I hate you false labor.

I was up ALL FLIPPIN' NIGHT with contractions. Fairly painful ones...like a 4 or 5 on the scale. That wrapped around my back and belly. And there was a ton of pressure between my hips too. I could not get comfortable and every contraction made me have to get up and pee. So I only got like 15 minutes of sleep at a time. I thought to myself "This is it! I'm going to have a baby!!!!"
So I got up this morning with Justin (and because I was starving) to walk around, take a shower, and pack my last minute items...
AND THEY STOPPED!!!! So of course I had no excuse not to go to work (because I am obviously not in labor) and with no sleep I am exhausted and nauseated...not to mention irritated at all that pain and suffering for nothing. I better AT LEAST hear that I've made some progress when the Doc checks me tomorrow.
So now I'm getting contractions at random. Some hurt, some don't.
UGH. I want to go home and sleep.
